Oil and gas separator
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002593
A pressure vessel designed to separate a well stream into its constituent components: oil, gas, and water. These separators operate on principles of gravity, momentum, and coalescence to achieve phase separation. They are classified by their configuration, such as horizontal, vertical, or spherical, and by the number of phases they separate, typically two-phase or three-phase.
