Coherence vector map
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000734
A map that shows how strongly the data of two wells correlate, with an arrow from one well toward the other showing the degree of correlation for that pair. High coherence between two wells indicates continuity of the property between them, whereas low coherence points to a barrier or lateral change. It is used in reservoir characterization to judge well-to-well connectivity.
