Compatibility
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000774
The ability of different fluids, chemicals, or materials to coexist without adverse reactions that would hinder enhanced oil recovery (EOR) processes. This includes the interaction between injected fluids and reservoir fluids, as well as between EOR chemicals and reservoir rocks or wellbore materials. Incompatibility can lead to precipitation, emulsion formation, or reduced injectivity, impacting recovery efficiency.
