Dissolved solids

Mineral salts and other compounds that are completely dissolved in the aqueous phase of a drilling fluid. These solids contribute to the salinity and density of the fluid and can affect its rheological properties and stability. Total dissolved solids (TDS) are typically measured in milligrams per liter (mg/L).
