Electric probe

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001263

A downhole logging tool that uses electrical principles to measure properties of the wellbore environment or surrounding formations. These probes can detect changes in resistivity, conductivity, or potential, providing information about fluid types, saturation, and lithology. Common applications include identifying water entry or hydrocarbon-bearing zones.
