Local probe
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002206
A small, intrusive sensor designed to measure fluid properties at a specific point within the wellbore. These probes are typically deployed on a logging tool and extend into the flow stream to gather localized data. Examples include capacitance probes for water holdup or resistance probes for gas detection.
