Equivalent sack

The mass of a blend of Portland cement with fly ash or another pozzolan that has the same absolute volume as one 94-pound sack of Portland cement. It lets additive dosages and slurry yields for blended cements be compared on the same volume basis as neat cement. A sack of Portland cement is defined as 94 pounds, or about 42.6 kilograms.
