Equivalent water resistivity
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004316
A calculated value representing the effective resistivity of the formation water in a shaly sand reservoir, often denoted as Rwe. It accounts for the combined electrical contribution of both free water and clay-bound water. This parameter is used in petrophysical models, such as the dual water model, to accurately determine water saturation.
