Fann viscometer
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001367
A rotational viscometer used to measure the rheological properties of drilling fluids, such as plastic viscosity, yield point, and gel strength. It operates by rotating a bob within a cup containing the fluid and measuring the torque required at different shear rates. Measurements are typically taken at 600 and 300 revolutions per minute (RPM).
