Flow efficiency

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001476

The ratio of a well's actual productivity index to its theoretical productivity index if there were no skin damage or stimulation. It quantifies how effectively a well produces compared to its ideal potential. A flow efficiency of less than one indicates formation damage, while a value greater than one suggests stimulation.
