Grease-injection system
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001746
A specialized pumping unit that delivers a viscous sealing compound, or grease, into the annular space of a wireline or coiled tubing lubricator. This creates a pressure barrier, preventing well fluids from escaping to the surface during operations. The system maintains a constant pressure differential across the packing elements.
