Gun barrel

A tall, vertical tank used for the gravity separation of oil, water, and gas, often as a final stage of water removal from crude oil. Water settles to the bottom, oil accumulates in the middle, and gas collects at the top. It is a simple and effective method for achieving basic separation without heat or chemicals.
