Hydrocarbon indicator

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001902

A seismic attribute or combination of attributes that suggests the presence of hydrocarbons in the subsurface. These indicators can include bright spots, dim spots, flat spots, amplitude variation with offset (AVO) anomalies, or changes in seismic velocity.
