Inverted five-spot
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002032
A regular five-well pattern in which one injection well sits at the center of a square and four production wells occupy the corners. It is the reverse of the normal five-spot, where a single producer is surrounded by four injectors. Tiled across a field, either arrangement gives a one-to-one ratio of injectors to producers.
