The permeability-thickness product, a measure of a reservoir's capacity to transmit fluids, calculated by multiplying the average effective permeability (k) by the net pay thickness (h). This value is a primary result derived from the analysis of pressure transient data from a well test. The permeability-thickness product is typically expressed in units of millidarcy-feet (mD-ft) or millidarcy-meters (mD-m).
