Kriging weights
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002110
Coefficients assigned to known data points in the kriging interpolation method, which determine their influence on the estimated value at an unsampled location. These weights are calculated based on the spatial correlation structure of the data, as described by the variogram, and the distance between points. The sum of kriging weights typically equals one.
