Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002109

A geostatistical interpolation method that estimates values at unsampled locations based on known values at nearby points. It uses a variogram to model the spatial correlation of data, providing not only an estimate but also a measure of the estimation uncertainty. This technique is widely applied in reservoir characterization to map properties such as porosity and permeability.
