Low-solids, nondispersed mud

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002231

A water-based drilling fluid characterized by a low concentration of suspended solids and the absence of chemical dispersants. This mud system relies on mechanical solids control to remove drilled cuttings and maintain rheological properties. It is designed to minimize formation damage and is often used in top-hole sections or environmentally sensitive areas.
