Mist
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002390
A dispersion of fine liquid droplets suspended in a gas phase, often encountered in gas processing and separation equipment. These droplets are small enough to remain entrained in the gas flow, making their removal necessary to meet product specifications or prevent equipment damage. Mist eliminators or demisters are installed in separators to coalesce and remove these liquid particles.
