Needle valve

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002518

A type of valve characterized by a small port and a slender, tapered plunger that precisely fits into the valve seat. The fine thread on the stem allows for very accurate control of flow rates, making it suitable for throttling applications. These valves are often used in instrumentation, sampling systems, and chemical injection lines where precise flow regulation is required.
