Source pattern
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003518
An arrangement of multiple seismic sources, such as vibrators or airguns, deployed in a specific geometric configuration at a single shot point. This pattern is designed to enhance the desired signal by constructive interference and suppress unwanted noise by destructive interference. The dimensions and spacing of the sources within the pattern are carefully chosen based on survey objectives.
