Tracer-ejector measurement

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003880

A production logging technique where a tracer is actively injected or ejected into the wellbore fluid at a specific depth to measure fluid velocity. The tracer is then detected by sensors positioned upstream or downstream, allowing for the calculation of fluid movement. This method provides localized velocity measurements and can be used to identify fluid entry points.
