Vibratory seismic data
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004046
Seismic data acquired using vibrator trucks as the energy source, which generate controlled, repeatable seismic waves into the subsurface. These vibrators sweep through a range of frequencies over a specified time period, allowing for precise control over the input signal. The recorded data are then correlated with the known sweep signal to produce a seismic record.
