Line yield
Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000200
The percentage of semiconductor wafers that successfully complete all manufacturing steps in a fabrication line without being scrapped due to defects or processing errors. This metric assesses the efficiency of the entire production flow from start to finish. A typical line yield in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility is often above 95 percent.
