Master bounding box
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000217
The smallest rectangular box that encloses all of the parts placed in one build, with faces aligned to the machine coordinate system. Its X, Y and Z extents show how much of the build volume a nested layout occupies and whether the layout fits the machine. For a build containing a single part, it coincides with that part's own bounding box.
