Acceleration of free fall
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000093
The acceleration experienced by an object due to gravity alone, in a vacuum, near the Earth's surface. This value is approximately 9.80665 meters per second squared (m/s²), although it varies slightly with latitude and altitude. It is a fundamental constant used in physics and engineering calculations involving gravitational forces.
