Adrenaline

A catecholamine hormone and neurotransmitter, also known as epinephrine, synthesized and released by the adrenal medulla in response to stress. It mediates the 'fight or flight' response by increasing heart rate, constricting blood vessels, and dilating airways. Adrenaline is widely used as a medication for anaphylaxis and in cardiac resuscitation.
