Alzheimer disease

A progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the gradual loss of memory, cognitive function, and behavioral changes. It is the most common cause of dementia, marked by the accumulation of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the brain. The disease typically progresses over several years, leading to severe impairment.
