Dementia

A chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease or injury, characterized by memory disorders, personality changes, and impaired reasoning. This condition affects cognitive functions such as thinking, remembering, and reasoning, interfering with daily life and activities. Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of progressive dementia.
