Anaphrodisiac

A substance that reduces or suppresses sexual desire, also known as libido. These agents can act through hormonal pathways, such as by lowering testosterone levels, or by affecting neurotransmitter systems in the central nervous system. Some medications, including certain antidepressants (like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), antihypertensives, and opioids, are known to have anaphrodisiac side effects.
