Angular frequency

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012871

A scalar measure of the rate of rotation or oscillation, expressed in radians per unit time. It is directly proportional to the ordinary frequency (f) and inversely proportional to the period (T) of a periodic phenomenon. The relationship is given by ω = 2πf, where ω is the angular frequency in radians per second.
