Antiserum

Blood serum containing antibodies against specific antigens, obtained from an animal or human that has been immunized or exposed to the antigen. This serum provides passive immunity when transferred to another individual, offering immediate but temporary protection against toxins or pathogens. Antiserum is used therapeutically for conditions such as snakebites or diphtheria.
