Association reaction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000844
A chemical reaction in which two or more molecules or fragments combine to form a single, larger molecule. This process typically involves the formation of new chemical bonds. In mass spectrometry, it describes the formation of an adduct ion from a reactant ion and a neutral molecule.
