Average beam current

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001019

The mean value of the electric current carried by a beam of charged particles over a specified period. It represents the total charge passing a point per unit time, averaged to account for any fluctuations. This parameter is a measure of the intensity of the particle beam in surface analytical techniques like X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
