BALB/c mouse

An inbred strain of albino laboratory mouse, widely used in immunology, cancer research, and toxicology studies. This strain is known for its susceptibility to plasmacytoma induction and its consistent immune responses, making it a valuable model for studying antibody production and infectious diseases. BALB/c mice are also used for generating monoclonal antibodies.
