Beam splitter
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001168
An optical device that divides a single incident beam of light into two or more separate beams. This division can be achieved through reflection, refraction, or diffraction. Beam splitters are fundamental components in interferometers, spectrophotometers, and other optical instruments where light needs to be directed along multiple paths.
