Blastula
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001370
An early stage of embryonic development characterized by a hollow sphere of cells, the blastomeres, surrounding a fluid-filled cavity called the blastocoel. This structure forms after the morula stage through a process of cell division and rearrangement. It represents a key developmental milestone before gastrulation begins.
