Morula

An early-stage embryo consisting of a solid ball of cells, resulting from the cleavage of a zygote. This compact mass of blastomeres, typically 16 to 32 cells, resembles a mulberry in appearance. It forms before the blastocyst stage, where a cavity develops within the cell mass.
