Brewster angle
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001496
The specific angle of incidence for unpolarized light at which the reflected light from a dielectric surface is perfectly polarized. At this angle, only light with its electric field vector perpendicular to the plane of incidence is reflected. The Brewster angle's value is determined by the refractive indices of the two media, according to the relation tan(θB) = n2/n1.
