Angle of incidence
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000597
The angle between the normal to a surface and the direction of an incoming beam of radiation or particles. This angle influences the interaction depth and reflection characteristics of the incident beam with the material. In spectroscopy, it is measured in degrees from the surface normal.
