Cardiogenesis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001670

The complex biological process of heart formation and development, beginning from the initial specification of cardiac progenitor cells and culminating in the formation of a fully functional, four-chambered heart. This process involves intricate cellular differentiation, migration, and morphological changes. In humans, cardiogenesis starts around the third week of gestation.
