Celsius temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001788
The thermodynamic temperature minus 273.15 K, expressed in degrees Celsius, a unit equal in size to the kelvin. On this scale the triple point of water is 0.01 degree Celsius, and water at standard atmospheric pressure freezes at about 0 degrees and boils at about 99.97 degrees. The name centigrade is a misnomer sometimes applied to it.
