Chiral selector

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002004

A molecule or moiety that can recognize and differentiate between enantiomers, typically by forming transient diastereomeric complexes. This selective interaction leads to different physical or chemical properties for each enantiomer, enabling their separation. Chiral selectors are incorporated into stationary phases or mobile phases in chiral chromatography.
