Circadian

Relating to a biological process or rhythm that recurs naturally on a 24-hour cycle, even in the absence of external cues. These rhythms are regulated by an internal biological clock and influence sleep-wake cycles, hormone release, and body temperature. The term derives from the Latin 'circa diem', meaning 'about a day'.
