CLOGP values
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002125
Numerical estimations of the octanol-water partition coefficient, derived through computational methods. These values quantify the lipophilicity of a chemical compound, indicating its preference for a lipid (octanol) phase over an aqueous (water) phase. CLOGP values are widely employed in drug design and toxicology to predict how a substance will behave in biological systems.
