Combination
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002264
A chain termination mechanism in polymerization where two growing polymer radicals react with each other to form a single, larger polymer molecule. This process typically involves the coupling of the radical centers, leading to the cessation of chain growth for both radicals. It results in an increase in the average molecular weight of the polymer.
