Cross-termination
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002734
A termination reaction in radical copolymerization where two growing polymer radicals of different monomer types combine or disproportionate. This process leads to the cessation of chain growth for both radicals involved. The rate of cross-termination contributes to the overall polymerization kinetics and can influence molecular weight distribution.
