Compton scattering analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002347
An analytical technique that measures the energy and angular distribution of photons scattered inelastically by electrons in a sample. This method provides information about the electron momentum distribution and electron density within materials. It is applied in fields such as materials science and medical imaging.
