Continuous effect

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002493

A measurable biological response that can manifest at any point along a quantitative scale, rather than as an all-or-nothing outcome. This type of effect allows for the observation of graded changes in an organism's physiological or biochemical state in response to varying levels of exposure. Examples include changes in enzyme activity, growth rates, or organ weights, which can be precisely quantified.
