Craniofacial

Relating to the structures of the cranium and the face. This anatomical term is used in developmental and reproductive toxicology to describe malformations or abnormalities affecting the bones and tissues of the head and face. These defects can result from genetic factors or exposure to teratogenic substances during embryonic or fetal development.
